BUMPED INTO AN EX RUMAH FAITH BOY IN A RESTAURANT.

Ricky Thayalan was an ex boy who came as a small boy while we were in Kajang.
A nice boy, well mannered and hard working. An average student but very helpful and obedient. After his Form 5, I even invited him to consider working in our Home, which we normally do for children who have no home to go to and who are capable.
Today he is a Security guard company Supervisor cum Marketing man. He is also a regular supporter of the Home.

When I was having lunch, he came with a colleague and sat on my table. His friend took a cigarette to light and he chided him, “don’t smoke here, he’s my father.” His friend then went to another table. He later paid for my lunch and we parted ways.

It’s always good to meet our Homes children wherever we go and to see them gainfully employed.
